The inspiration to create the Diver watch:
Isotope timepieces are inspired in the 1930’s Streamline Moderne Design.
The teardrop shape on our dials it’s our DNA, exclusively identifying previous and future watch designs.
A concept initiated with our Rider Jumping Hour and now extended to all our watch models.
At Isotope we feel there’s space to create a new Diver Watch and offer an independent design, with rich and functional, long lasting details.
We searched inspiration on the details and shapes of the Talbot-Lago Goutte d’Eau, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful automobiles ever designed.
The case design has a classic and timeless approach, created to last and to adapt to various life situations: diving, sports or simply enjoying life under and above water.
With a diameter of 40mm, an Anti-Reflective Sapphire crystal and an Inner Bezel with 90 clicks, the case has 2 water proof screw down crowns: at 4 o’clock to adjust time or to manually wind the 9015 Miyota caliber, and another at 2 o'clock to rotate the bezel and measure diving time.
The watch also has Super Luminova on the hands and on the indexes allowing time reading in low light conditions
The Goutte d'Eau Nordblad features a bespoke metal bracelet with a discreet extension clasp, useful to quickly change the bracelet size to be worn over a diving suit.
The Goutte d’Eau Nordblad is animated by an Automatic Japanese masterpiece, the Miyota 9015. Extremely accurate, for a mechanical movement, it’s shock proof and has a power reserve of more than 42 hours. The 9015 offers the reliability every Isotope watch demands.
Every Isotope Goutte d’Eau has a serial number for easier identification and also comes in two models:
The original, finished in Orange and an exhibition case back and the Nordblad, finished in Ice Blue. This special Edition with solid case back is an homage to Johanna Nordblad, World Champion of Ice Diving and with an incredible story of resilience and braveness. We proudly welcome a true Champion to the Isotope team.
