On the 11th of March, which was a sunny and warm Saturday, we drove to one of our favourite lakes, lake Sonnanen. Sonnanen has been our main filming lake - with Matila and Röhr Productions when filming the Life in Four Elements, with Ian Derry when filming Johanna, with a crew from London and the US when filming Journey from the Source for Finlandia Vodka. So a place we love and this winter we hadn't been there yet.
So it was extra special to go and see a new world record happen there. Arthur Guerin-Boeri from France made a new record, 175m with a wetsuit and a fin, distance under the ice. Congratulations, all went really well!!!
